The cakes are baked with different ingredients and that can be allergic to some people. It is your responsibility to make sure you understand (and where you don’t understand, inquire first) before ordering the cake. Delivery of Flowers

Our core business is fresh flowers designs and flowers delivery in Kenya. Whenever you place an order on our website, the flowers can be delivered on the same day anywhere within Meru county  and next day to other towns in Kenya. We have an option for customers to select desirable delivery date and time. Every effort is made to honour the client’s request but cannot commit 100% efficiency in the timing of delivery.

Delivery of flowers outside Meru Town will incur an extra cost on the checkout.

Mandatory Information for Delivery

We need to have the full and correct information as well as the phone number of the recipient for your flower order. If shipping is to a different location to your billing address, indicate on the shipping field. Our relationship manager might call to confirm the recipient delivery address. Without this information provided by the customer, lotus flower shop team cannot guarantee the delivery of the order and a refund must not be given. When our florist realizes that the recipient address is incorrect, we will try to contact you. However, a delivery can be changed by contacting our customer support team on whatsapp chat and they will edit your delivery information. Since the customer is responsible for the correctness of his information, lotus flower shop delivery team will not be liable if the order delivery details are incorrect and cannot be delivered. In this case there will be no refund of the order.

Address Change

Any changes to the recipient address would be entertained free of cost if they are requested before 48hrs of the actual delivery. After then, no changes will be accepted, and the order will not be canceled.

After shipping, you will not be able to change your address for purchases from the gift department

Order Changes

Changes to order information are permissible as long as they are made within a reasonable time frame. If requested 24 hours prior to the actual delivery date and time, order alterations will be accommodated with monetary adjustments. It should be noted that order adjustments are only permitted for equal substitutes or higher-value products, since no money will be reimbursed. Address Changes to the recipient’s location are permissible, however they may incur additional costs depending on the delivery location. Only before the flowers, cakes or gifts are sent out is it possible to change your address.

Rules for Delivery

 

b) Lotus Flower shop will be able to attempt delivery of your order only ONCE. In the event the delivery is not executed during the attempt, the customer shall still be charged for the order and has to pay for redelivery where deemed possible.

We will consider the order executed in the below cases:

1. Wrong shipping/delivery address.

2. Recipient not available.

3. Premises locked.

4. Wrong Mobile number or Extension number which may render us unable to reach the recipient for the delivery.

5. Recipient refusing to accept the delivery.

6. Delivered the product at the Gate/ Reception

Same Day Delivery

If you place an order on our website, normally the flowers can be delivered on the same day in Meru and its environments. Guarantee for same day delivery is for orders before 3pm. If a location is far or remote, deliver will be made next day.

Delivery Charges

There is a delivery charge, you will see at the end of the order you place. Delivery charges depend on the area and the distance from Meru Town.

Recipient not Available / Not at Home

We always try to contact the recipient before the delivery by phone. In some cases, we try to make delivery without speaking to the recipient or if they do not answer the phone. We can make the delivery by leaving the flowers by a guardian person or concierge. This is also considered delivered.

Delivery Timings

For all same day orders, orders have to be made before 3 pm on the same day. After then, all orders will be evaluated for delivery the next day at the latest.

We cannot promise a certain delivery time; however, our standard delivery hours are 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Clients can request certain delivery times in the Special Instructions section

of the payment form; we will do our best to comply with the client’s request, but we cannot guarantee 100% efficiency in delivery time.

When harsh weather conditions, riots, strikes, elections, and peak hour days such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve occur, delivery times cannot be guaranteed.

Flowers & Gifts Availability and Substitution

Please note that the images on the website are system generated and are meant for reference. Every effort is made to make the final product look like the system image. However, variations is expected as the floral arrangements are handmade.

variation could be due to substitution; N/B Substitution may be necessary to create your arrangement due to the season and nature of the fresh produce availability in the market. care is taken to maintain the theme, style and color scheme of the arrangement.

while substitute items in a package ordered are rare, we reserve the right to make these substitutions without notifying the customer, unless the substitutions are significant. All substitutions are of equal or greater value and look as similar as possible to the product displayed on the website.

Gifts Delivery(Add Ons to Flowers)

If Teddy Bear, Vase or Balloons etc are also ordered, they will be delivered with the flowers. We reserve the right to supply the item with a change of colour/ wording from image, depending on availability on the day. This does not apply to wines, which will always be as ordered, red, white, champagne etc. only the brand name may change if necessary. With regards to consumables, an unavailable item will be replaced by a similar alter-native. In most cases Extra Gifts/Cakes/Chocolates have to be accompanied by Flowers. A message will advise No Product S elected if this is the case and you will need to add Flowers to your order.

Cake Delivery

You can order for a cake on our website to be delivered alone or with flowers. Cake order should be made 24 hours before the delivery day. This entails that we do not guarantee same day delivery of cakes.

Cancellation & Refund

Any cancellation to the order shall be made before 48hrs of the actual day of delivery to claim a refund of the paid amount. For same day delivery cancellation must be made 1hour after placing the order. No refund shall be made once the 48hr delivery window starts or 60 minutes lapse after ordering for same day delivery. Cancellation is not possible if the product is dispatched. Also, note that, personalized and branded products once placed cannot be cancelled.
